He was born in 1965. After completing his studies, he was engaged at the Faculty of Political Sciences in Belgrade as a teaching assistant at the Department of General and Political Sociology. From 1995 to 1998 he worked on operational tasks at the Criminal Police Directorate of the MUP of the Republic of Serbia. He has been employed at the Police Academy since 1998, during which all stages of the teaching process have passed – from assistant trainees to teachers. During 2008 he was the head of the Department of Social Sciences. Elected in 2010 for the Vice Dean for Secondary Degree Criminology and Police Academy. Engaged as a part-time teacher at the Faculty of Political Science and the Faculty of Security of the University of Belgrade. He is a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Culture and the Journal of the Academy, NBP – Journal of Criminalistics and Law. He participated in a number of domestic and international research projects, international scientific conferences and conferences. He works with several scientific and scientific-educational institutions in the country and abroad. He is the author and co-author of many monographs, books and textbooks. He is a member of the Political Science Association. He made a significant contribution to the development of the theory of social conflicts and crisis management.
