Prof. Dr. Snežana Mojsoska is a Full Professor of Economics at the Faculty of Security in Skopje, University “St. Kliment Ohridski” – Bitola, North Macedonia. Her academic and research work focuses on economic security, financial investigations, anti-money laundering, and the economics of crime.

She earned her PhD in Economic Sciences in 2011 at the Faculty of Economics in Prilep, University “St. Kliment Ohridski”, with a dissertation examining the functioning and development perspectives of investment funds in the Republic of Macedonia. She previously completed a Master of Science in Economics at the Faculty of Economics, University “Ss. Cyril and Methodius” in Skopje, where she specialized in financial instruments and economic transitions.

Prof. Mojsoska has extensive academic experience spanning nearly two decades. She currently serves as Vice Dean for Finance at the Faculty of Security in Skopje, a position she has held since 2021. She has also previously served as Head of Master Studies and Vice Dean for Finance at the same faculty. Throughout her career, she has progressed through all academic ranks, from teaching assistant to full professor.

Her teaching and research areas include principles of economics, economic security, financial investigations, and money laundering. She has authored and co-authored numerous scientific publications and books, including the textbook Introduction to Economics, as well as several international journal articles and conference papers on financial crime, economic security, policing innovations, and migration-related security challenges.

Prof. Mojsoska actively participates in international academic cooperation and research projects. She has been a visiting lecturer at several European universities and security institutions, including the University of Zagreb, the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen, the Academy of the Ministry of Interior in Sofia, Pawel Wlodkowic University College in Poland, and the University of Split. She has also contributed as a speaker at international security conferences, including the Sofia Security Forum.

She has coordinated and participated in several international research and training projects, including the Erasmus+ project VR4React – Reducing Reactive Aggression through Virtual Reality. Her professional engagement also includes participation in initiatives addressing financial crime investigations in the Western Balkans and cooperation with international organizations such as GIZ and UNODC.

Prof. Mojsoska serves as a reviewer for international academic journals and books and is actively engaged in European academic mobility programs, including the CEEPUS network, where she acts as institutional coordinator at the Faculty of Security in Skopje.

Her research interests include economic security, financial crime, anti-money laundering systems, policing innovation, and the intersection of economics and security studies.
