Paounis Nikolaos is a doctor of international relations at the University of Western Macedonia and a professor of geopolitics at the post-training school of the Greek police. He is a member of the greek “think tank”, Hellenic Foundation for European and International Policy.

He has written curricula for the National Kapodistrian University of Athens, where he has taught courses on Security and International Law.

He has published in scientific journals in Greece and abroad on the subject of Defense, Foreign Policy and Turkish Strategy.

He graduated in 2016 from the University of Macedonia with honors, holds a Master degree in History, also with honors, and a PhD in international relations.

He speaks English, Turkish and the language of North Macedonia.
