Prof. dr Nikola Dujovski is the Dean of the Faculty of Security – Skopje, University “St. Kliment Ohridski”- Bitola. In the period 2013-2017 he was a Vice Dean responsible for teaching and science. He is Associate Professor in Police Ethics, Police Management, Integrated Border Management, Illegal Migration and Smuggling and Justice and Home Affairs of the EU. His professional background encompasses both, law enforcement and academic work. Prior to the academic career, his law enforcement engagement of 12 years involves various positions within the Ministry of Interior including operational and commanding level. Hi received Master of Science in European Integrations in 2008, and Doctoral Degree in Law in 2011. He participated in over 100 international conferences and international congresses and seminars, and published more than 50 scientific papers in national and international journals. His field of academic interest is related to the security, police works and European integrations. He is also a member of National Advisory Team for Border Management, actively involved in preparation of National Strategy for Border Management 2015-2020. As researcher he was a part of a various domestic and EU funded projects, mainly related to the transformation of studying at the Police Academy in Skopje. At the moment he is a part of a longitudinal research “Citizens opinion of the Police work”. He is a reviewer of papers from international scientific publications, and of MA and PhD thesis at the Faculty of Security Skopje and the Faculty of Law “Iustinianus Primus” in Skopje. He is National Contact Person for co-operation with CEPOL, AEPS and BALPEC. He is a member of program committee of H2020 secure societies, and NCP for H2020 Secure society programme. He is active in cooperation with several international organizations such as CEPOL, AEPC, DCAF, OSCE and others.
