Dr Katarzyna Sienkiewicz-Małyjurek
Katarzyna Sienkiewicz-Małyjurek, PhD, Assoc. Prof. works in the Department of Management at the Silesian University of Technology. Her specializations are emergency management, public safety, and digital governance.
She conducts research and scientific projects on methods of shaping public safety, logistics and collaboration in crisis management, and initiatives streamlining emergency operations. She is the author of many scientific publications in this field.
Currently, her research focuses on using digital technologies to coordinate emergency activities and on approaches to build social resilience.
She participates in the undertakings of international and national scientific associations, including the International Research Society for Public Management, the International Public Management Network, the European Group for Public Administration, and the Commission for the Management Studies of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
