CIOBANU Rodica is a habilitated doctor in law (the highest post PhD academic degree in Moldova) and currently works at Moldova State University as director of the Department of Public Law, Faculty of Law, also she coordinates the state program in the field of research and innovation “Modernization of governance mechanisms focused on the protection of human rights”, in addition to her coordination of the Scientific Research Laboratory “Comparative Public Law and Governance”. Prof. Ciobanu has planned and successfully organized several national and international scientific events. Among the most important one is the organization of the International Scientific Conference State, Security and Human Rights in the Digital Age, over the last 7 years, and coordinated various publications of articles and conference proceedings.
Since 2011 she undergone significant scientific research at the Academy of Sciences of Moldova, being part of interdisciplinary teams of researchers and national expert on research projects. Until 2019 she was the director of the department of Communication and Information Theory. She held the position of the Dean of the Faculty of Socio-humanistic Sciences of the University of Academy of Sciences where she developed 3 master degree programs on: National Security; Globalization, History and European Politics, Intercultural Communication and Mediation.
She has elaborated several scientific works with impact, appreciated with gold, silver and bronze medals at invention fairs in the Republic of Moldova and Romania, she is the winner of the Prize of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova in the field of law and political sciences for her valuable scientific results obtained during 2020-2021.
