Colonel GS (ret.) Assoc. Prof. Dipl. Eng. Radoslav Ivančík, PhD. et PhD., MBA, MSc. was born on July 15, 1969, in Nitra. He graduated in Army Economics – Finance at the Military University in Vyškov in Moravia in the Czech Republic. He successfully completed his first doctoral studies in Public
Sector Economics and Services at the Faculty of Economics of Matej Bel University in Banská Bystrica and the second in Security and Defense of the State at the Academy of the Armed Forces of General Milan Rastislav Štefánik in Liptovský Mikuláš. He also obtained the scientific- pedagogical title of Associate Professor in Security Sciences at the Academy of the Police Force in Bratislava.
In addition, he is a successful graduate of senior command and staff courses at the Naval Postgraduate School at the Defense Resource Management Institute in the United States, the Royal Defense Academy in the United Kingdom, the National Defense Resource Management Institute in Canada, the Ecole Supérieure de Management Militaire in France, NATO School in Germany, and the National Security Course at the Academy of the Armed Forces of General Milan Rastislav Štefánik in Liptovský Mikuláš.
Colonel GS (ret.) Assoc. Prof. Dipl. Eng. Radoslav Ivančík, PhD. et PhD., MBA, MSc. during his professional career, he gradually held several leading positions at various levels of command and control of the Armed Forces of the Slovak Republic and the Ministry of Defense of the Slovak Republic. At the same time, he represented the Slovak Republic in several working committees and groups within NATO, the EU and the V4 and participated in the solution of research projects managed at the level of the NATO Science and Technology Organization. After retiring from the position of General Director of the Human Resources Department of the Ministry of Defense, he currently works as a university teacher at the Academy of the Police Force in Bratislava.
Colonel GS (ret.) Assoc. Prof. Dipl. Eng. Radoslav Ivančík, PhD. et PhD., MBA, MSc. is the author and co-author of eight scientific monographs, six university textbooks and more than hundreds of scientific and professional studies, articles and contributions in the field of state security and defense, globalization, security management, financing of the armed forces and international crisis management operations. He regularly publishes in domestic and foreign scientific and professional journals and actively participates in international scientific conferences at home and abroad.
