On February 13, 2023, as announced, the “First National Symposium on Security Management – Emergency Situations and Violence in Educational Institutions of the Republic of Serbia” was held in Belgrade, organized by the Institute for National and International Security (INIS) and the Serbian Association of Professors of Physical Education and Sports (SSPFVS), under the auspices of the Institute for the Improvement of Education and Training of the Republic of Serbia (ZUOV).
The symposium was held in the premises of the Institute for National and International Security.
The symposium opened at 11 a.m., the welcome speech was given by prof. Dr. Jahja Fehratović, President of the Subcommittee for Science and Higher Education of the National Assembly of the RS and Member of Parliament of the RS.
In the first session of the symposium, Prof. Zoran Dragišić, PhD, topic: Security management in educational institutions of the Republic of Serbia, Milan Stošić, topic: Education, teaching process and safety, Prof. Darko Trifunović, PhD, topic: Forms of threats and risks in educational institutions of the Republic of Serbia, Dejan Nedić Company of Directors R. Serbia topic: The need and importance of professional development of managers in educational institutions.
The second session continued with the following speakers: Prof. Dr. Mario Lukinović, topic: IT security in educational institutions of the Republic of Serbia, Miladin Pušica ZUOV, topic: Labor law status of employees and security environment in educational institutions of the Republic of Serbia, colonel (pnz) Boško Zorić, topic: Emergency situations and protection measures in educational institutions of the Republic of Serbia, Prof. Dr. Saša Mijalković, topic: Safety in schools – experiences, lessons and suggestions.
The symposium ended with questions and answers, as well as a round table with presented conclusions for the further course of activities related to the management of security-emergency situations and violence in educational institutions of the Republic of Serbia.
