The 67th session of the UN Narcotics Commission from March 14-16, where the focus was on drawing attention to the danger of the spread of Fentanyl, which was also discussed by American Secretary Antony Blinken, as well as the level of the organizational scheme of criminal organizations.

Namely, it was noticed that today we do not have one dominant figure in the drug world who controls the entire transport or sale of cocaine in Europe, but that criminal chains are formed made up of several smaller organizations with clearly divided roles in that illegal business.

Those small organizations are easily replaceable and the elimination of one or two does not completely damage the chain because there are several others waiting to be included.

Therefore, a larger number of smaller organizations, that is, links in the chain as easily replaceable factors, are the current model of OKG.

At the same time, many of them participate in several chains, so there is much greater cooperation, especially in the process of transporting cocaine from Latin America to Europe.

For now, a firm hierarchy is present only among growers and producers, while in transport and wholesale trade, almost everyone cooperates with everyone, which is a consequence of the increased demand for cocaine in Europe, where the market is worth around 30 billion Euros annually.
