The Institute for National and International Security (INIS) is pleased to highlight a recent meeting between its Senior Research Fellow, Professor Pramod Jaiswal, and Professor Dr. Cheng-Chwee Kuik, Professor of International Relations at the Institute of Malaysian and International Studies (IKMAS), National University of Malaysia (UKM), one of the leading experts on international relations and strategic affairs in Southeast Asia.

During their meeting, Professor Jaiswal and Professor Kuik reflected on the ten-year development of the Nepal Institute for International Cooperation and Engagement (NIICE), discussed current geopolitical developments in South and Southeast Asia, and explored opportunities for expanding future academic cooperation. Their discussions emphasized the importance of strengthening international research networks and fostering collaboration among leading scholars and institutions across Asia and Europe.

The meeting also explored possibilities for joint research initiatives, academic exchanges, conferences, and publications in international relations, strategic studies, security, and intelligence.
