The Institute for National and International Security (INIS) is pleased to highlight the participation of our distinguished member, Dr. Jagannath Panda, Head of the Stockholm Center for South Asian and Indo-Pacific Affairs at the Institute for Security and Development Policy (ISDP), Sweden, at the World Knowledge Forum 2026 in Seoul, Republic of Korea.
This year’s World Knowledge Forum was held under the theme “The Promethean Moment: Architecting the Co-Intelligence Order,” bringing together prominent experts, policymakers, academics, and business leaders to discuss major transformations shaping the emerging global order.
Dr. Panda participated in the panel “Reshaping Global Supply Chains: Strategies across Continents,” together with Dr. Zongyuan Zoe Liu, Mr. Bernard Salomé, and Mr. Brian Kingston.
The discussion focused on the growing strategic importance of supply-chain connectivity and resilience across Asia, Europe, and beyond. In the current geopolitical environment, supply chains are no longer merely an economic or commercial issue. They have become an important component of economic security, strategic autonomy, technological competition, and the broader security architecture connecting the Indo-Pacific and Europe.
Dr. Panda’s participation at the World Knowledge Forum once again demonstrates the strong international presence and expertise of INIS members in some of the most important contemporary debates on geopolitics, economic security, the Indo-Pacific, Europe-Asia relations, and the transformation of the international order.
INIS congratulates Dr. Jagannath Panda on his participation and contribution to the World Knowledge Forum 2026 in Seoul.
