The Institute for National and International Security (INIS) proudly announces its role as a co-organizer of the XXII Cracow Security Forum 2026, one of the most prominent international academic and professional gatherings in Security Science.

The Forum will take place from May 7–9, 2026, in Kraków, Poland, bringing together leading scholars, experts, and institutions from across Europe and beyond to discuss contemporary security challenges and global trends. The event is hosted by the Wyższa Szkoła Bezpieczeństwa Publicznego i Indywidualnego “Apeiron” w Krakowie, in cooperation with numerous international partners, among which INIS holds a significant and active role.

As an institutional co-organizer, INIS contributes to the scientific, academic, and organizational dimensions of the Forum, reaffirming its position as a globally recognized platform for research, education, and strategic dialogue in the field of security. INIS’s participation further strengthens international cooperation and supports the exchange of knowledge among academic and professional communities.

The Forum addresses key issues related to modern security environments, including national and international security, geopolitical challenges, societal transformations, and emerging risks in an increasingly complex global landscape. It provides a unique platform for interdisciplinary dialogue and the development of innovative security approaches.

A particularly significant moment of this year’s Forum will be the ceremonial conferment of Honorary Doctorates, which will take place on May 7, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn Kraków, as part of the official conference program. This ceremony will recognize distinguished scholars and global experts for their exceptional contributions to advancing Security Science and international academic cooperation.

Through its engagement in the Cracow Security Forum, INIS continues to strengthen its international presence, expand its academic network, and actively contribute to shaping contemporary security discourse.
