As a part of constant efforts of INIS to strengthen the global position of Serbia, His Excellence S. Bhattacharjee, Ambassador of India, came to visit INIS on February 3, 2020. INIS was represented by Prof. Darko Trifunović, Director of INIS, Prof. Zoran Rakić, Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics – University Belgrade, Prof. Ivica Radović, Faculty of Security Studies – University Belgrade, Prof. Nikola Tanić, funding member of INIS, Prof. Srđan Milašinović, The Academy of Criminalistic and Police Studies – Belgrade, Prof. Branislav Todorović, Director of INIS Research and Mr. Darko Obradović, Executive Secretary of INIS.

The visit of HE S. Bhattacharjee was focused on possibilities for scientific, R&D and other forms of cooperation. In light of even better partnership, HE S. Bhattacharjee has agreed to support the organization of the International Scientific Conference named Serbia – India Mutual Relationship – Regional Approach for the first week of October 2020 at National Parliament of Serbia. Within the preparatory activities for cooperation, INIS has presented its latest projects and initiatives, starting with the concept of advanced mobile fighting vehicle which has drawn interest and inquires of HE S. Bhattacharjee. Participating INIS partners and members also underlined various topics of interest from the Serbian side in order for the Ambassador to be able to establish contacts with counterparts from India.
