Dr. Swaran Singh
Dr. Swaran Singh is Chair and Prof, Centre for International Politics, Organisation and Disarmament (CIPOD) at School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University (New Delhi) and president of Association of Asia Scholars (asiascholars.in). He is visiting professor, China West Normal University, Research Institute of Indian Ocean Economies (Kunming), adjunct senior fellow of The Charhar Institute (Beijing), Institute of National Security Studies Sri Lanka, and Sichuan University Jinjiang College. He is Member, Governing Board, Society of Indian Ocean Studies, New Delhi.
Prof Singh has supervised 35 PhDs and 50+ MPhil degrees and sits on various Selection Committees for faculty recruitment and on Editorial Boards of various reputed journals. He has published in Journal of International Affairs (Columbia University), Security Challenges (Australian National University), Journal of Indian Ocean Region (Perth, Australia), Issues & Studies (Taiwan National University), African Security (Institute of Security Studies), BISS Journal (Dhaka), and several reputed Chinese and Indian journals.
